Discoboxx is a Raleigh-based DJ collective playing weddings in Chapel Hill, Carrboro and across Orange County. If you want great music and a packed dance floor without the cheese, we're your people.

A Chapel Hill wedding often brings together college friends, family and a lot of different music tastes. Our job is to read that room and connect it. We mix live and move between eras and genres, so your grandparents and your old roommates end up on the same dance floor.

We've played classic spaces like the Carolina Inn, and we bring the same thing to every venue, in town or on the farms just outside it: clean ceremony sound, a smooth handoff from dinner to dancing, and lighting that changes the feel of the room.

Your pick of DJ. After a quick call, you'll see every DJ available on your date, with bios and mixes, and choose your favorite.
Sound for the whole day. Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, with your DJ as MC.
A setup that looks good. Custom wooden DJ booths that look great from the dance floor and in your photos.
Add-ons when you want them. Lighting kits, plus a live saxophonist who plays over our DJ sets.

After the call, you will receive a list of the DJs available for your date. Read their bios, listen to their mixes, and then pick your favorite one. Can't decide? We can select the best DJ based on the vibes you were looking for.

Pick your add ons

Choose any of our lighting kits or add ons upfront, or wait to book those down the line.

Step 4

Plan your wedding

After booking, you'll receive a welcome email with your custom Discoboxx Portal and all the next steps. As the date approaches, you'll meet with your DJ to discuss the song choices and all the details!
