The Carolina Manor House
A 1902 Queen Anne Estate North of Raleigh
The Carolina Manor House is a restored 1902 Queen Anne home in Franklinton, about 15 minutes from Wake Forest and 35 minutes from Raleigh. Built for a local physician, it's on the National Register of Historic Places and sits on about 10 acres shaded by century-old oaks. Couples get the whole estate: ceremonies in Lula's Garden Chapel, the gardens or in front of the house; cocktail hour on the patio, lawn and wrap-around porch; and a reception in the Grand Hall with room for a full dance floor. There are treehouse cabins on site for overnight stays.
Why We Love DJing at The Carolina Manor House
We've DJ'd at The Carolina Manor House, and having the whole estate to yourselves makes the day feel personal. Here's how a Discoboxx wedding comes together there:
Garden ceremony sound: Wireless sound for Lula's Garden Chapel or the front lawn, so the house stays the backdrop.
Cocktail hour on the porch: Music that carries across the patio and lawn while you take photos under the oaks.
A Grand Hall reception: We build the night from dinner to a full dance party, with your DJ handling every announcement as MC.
A setup that fits the look: Our custom wooden DJ booths suit a historic estate.
Planning Tips for The Carolina Manor House
Pick your ceremony spot early: With three options on the property, let us know where you'll be so ceremony sound is ready.
Make it a weekend: The treehouse cabins make a welcome party or morning-after brunch easy. We can DJ those too.
Add a photo booth: A photo booth gives guests something fun between dance sets. Our sister brand Hotshot can be added to any Discoboxx package.
