Whitaker & Atlantic

A Chic Warehouse Venue Minutes from Downtown

Whitaker & Atlantic is an industrial warehouse venue in Raleigh's Loading Dock complex on East Whitaker Mill Road, a few minutes from downtown. It pairs high ceilings and concrete floors with a handcrafted wooden bar, gold fixtures and soft, modern finishes. Catering is in-house through PoshNosh Catering, with a full kitchen on site and full bar service. A three-season porch runs the length of the building, and there's a getting-ready suite upstairs. The space seats about 150, or up to 300 for a standing reception.

Why We Love DJing at Whitaker & Atlantic

We've DJ'd at Whitaker & Atlantic, and it's a warehouse venue built with the party in mind. Here's how a Discoboxx wedding comes together there:

  • Ceremony sound: A clean wireless setup for the ceremony, whether you face the fabric backdrop inside or another spot on site.

  • Cocktail hour on the porch: The covered porch works rain or shine, and we give it its own soundtrack.

  • A reception built for dancing: The venue has a built-in DJ and multimedia booth, and we know how to make the most of it for your layout.

  • Slideshows and visuals: The venue's projector and 200-inch screen are great for a slideshow or your first dance on the big screen. We'll cue it as MC.

Planning Tips for Whitaker & Atlantic

  • Plan the room flip: The venue has curtains to divide the room. If your ceremony and reception share the space, cocktail hour on the porch covers the changeover.

  • Use the upstairs suite: It doubles as a lounge after the ceremony for a quiet moment together.

  • Add a photo booth: A photo booth fits perfectly along the warehouse walls. Our sister brand Hotshot can be added to any Discoboxx package.

Getting married at Whitaker & Atlantic? Check your date and see pricing. Discoboxx wedding packages include ceremony and cocktail hour sound and your DJ as MC, with no travel fee in the Triangle.
